As I explore the forests of my soul…

… I see you in the trees.

The Interim In Picture Point Form

Hello again.

I have been absent from here for some time. Life has a way of getting in the way of art, so I’ve been trying to take more photos of the little details and creations in my life (whether it’s food or sketches) to compensate. Here’s a selection of my instagram photos from the past while to give you a peek at what I’ve been up to:

Thanksgiving 2014

Max & I headed South to LaSalle to spend Thanksgiving with his family and to see some friends from Kingston and Windsor! We drove down to Point Pelee, the Southernmost part of mainland Canada, and hung around Ojibway Park with the abundant deer. Here are some of the photos I took.

A Journey Out West

Early in the summer my best friend/boyfriend/siamese twin Maxwell & I did something I’ve been wanting to do for as long as I can remember- we drove across Canada! We started in Toronto, where we live, and ended up in Tofino, the furthest West you can get in the country. It was the greatest adventure I’ve ever taken part of. Canada is a huge country with a great variety of climates and terrains, so I ended up seeing a lot of stuff I’d never seen in real life before!

Oh, and don’t worry, East Coast. We’ll be seeing you next.

✕ Photojournal

Over the past month and a bit I’ve been trying to keep a photo journal.
Each triptych represents one day; how I’m feeling, what I’m doing, what’s catching my attention. Little photoshop is used, outside of the odd subtle tint to convey a mood or the black bars. These photos are taken just on my crappy little Android phone camera, so they’re nothing special. I’ve always had an idle interest in photography and it seemed like a decent way to do a little creative thing each day. Here are my three favourites so far (Click to enlarge):
